We are delighted to report that during 2011 over 10,000 individuals benefited from medical care delivered by the Rapha Medical Outreach team, 1,684 of whom were treated remotely on a total of five village outreach events. Over 100 major operations were also undertaken by Dr Paul including some very serious procedures; prostatectomy, total abdominal hysterectomy, emergency caesarean sections, bowel resection and tumor resection to mention but a few.
The ultrasound machine has been put to excellent use particularly in respect of obstetrics care and the administration of ozone and glyconutrients is having outstanding results with HIV patients.
A second pastor has been added to the team who are resolved and positive about the challenges they face in the coming year. The encourgement they receive from the ongoing support they receive is invaluable in keeping team morale high and the numbers of people treated maintained.
